Charlene the Star and Bentley Bulldog  by Deanie Humphrys-Dunne This delightful book is my very first audio book review. The author, Deanie Humphrys-Dunne, has yet again, written a wonderful story using animals as voices of reason. The story is focused around a group of animals, including a bulldog named Bentley and Charlene, everybody's favourite horse in this particular series. But, what is so good about this book, is that it covers such important issues like bullying and helping others. Children, whilst reading, will not only be entertained but also will be learning some very key social issues. The book encourages young people to pursue their dreams with hard work and determination. Everything you could possibly wish for your child is packed into this very special story. The narrator, too, Kimberly Botello-Flores, is an inspired choice as she really throws herself into each character, bringing this tale alive. John Paul Allen tells a tale of reincarnation from Max Belote in 1931 to Edward Paine in 2001. One such life was Jeffrey Michael Roberts and he, in turn, shares his life with the evil inside of him: Virago.
