John Paul Allen tells a tale of reincarnation from Max Belote in 1931 to Edward Paine in 2001. One such life was Jeffrey Michael Roberts and he, in turn, shares his life with the evil inside of him: Virago.
The words quoted above are what he shares with the reader when he discovers Virago's existence.
Virago wants things - people. Boys, women, girls.
He's not fussy.
He is your nightmare.
Now, Gifted Trust has been revised and the updated version is now for sale!!
I'm leaving you to decide the degree of inspiration and feeling that this book and author produces in you.
In 1930 Max Belote, a Dallas literary agent, heard the voice of Virago. 'Tell her, just be good,' it whispered and he'd repeat before mutilating or killing his victim. Wanting to stop the evil entity inside him, Max ended his life.
I love how JPA's mind works, his descriptions, and his thought processes. He is my inspiration to write horror. I can do it with his help.
There ARE scenes in this novella that will make you cringe, shock you and maybe make you feel a little nauseous. Please, however, bear with it. It is only fiction, after all.
